Do you sometimes find it tiring not to see what's in your blind spot? The LaneWatch system can easily fix this problem. LaneWatch technology is better than a blind spot monitoring system that displays an indicator light when there is another vehicle present. The LaneWatch system uses a camera that lets you see what is happening in real time in the blind spot.
This camera turns on when you activate the right turn signal. In doing so, an image of the blind spot will be shown on the center screen. This image allows you to see if another vehicle is approaching very clearly, or to see a cyclist or a pedestrian while driving in the city.
This is a very simple technology, but also very effective. You'll find the LaneWatch system on several new Honda vehicles, while other models like the Honda Civic or Honda Fit offer it as an option.
With LaneWatch, driving in town is child's play and you'll never have to worry when you change lanes on the highway. It is also possible to benefit from LaneWatch in combination with the blind spot monitoring system for even better visibility.
We are waiting for you at Chagnon Honda to give you more information about LaneWatch and all other Honda driver assistance technologies.
